We are on the lookout for a reliable, passionate and organised individual to join our team as a kitchen assistant. What is required from you? - A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Opportunities Available:
- Kitchen Assistant to work 30 hours per week - each shift is 10 hours, 3 shifts a week to include working alternative weekends
- Bank Kitchen Assistant - zero hour contract
- Combination of shift times; 7.30am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 7.30pm
- No set shifts, flexible rota
A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant - Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
- Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.
About YouYou don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
