The Housing Support Lead will provide specialist leadership for housing across inpatient and community pathways, ensuring housing needs are identified and addressed from the point of admission to support safe and timely discharge. The postholder will manage a small caseload of the Trust's most complex housing-related discharge cases, providing expert advice to multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with Local Authorities, housing providers and partner agencies, and leading the resolution of barriers such as homelessness, tenancy issues and access to suitable accommodation. The role will also drive service improvement by embedding housing into discharge pathways, monitoring housing-related delays, developing operational processes, and providing strategic oversight to reduce unnecessary length of stay, improve patient flow and support the Trust's discharge performance.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in housing or related field
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development

- Significant experience of and demonstrable achievement in housing and homelessness practice
- Experience of partnership working within and across statutory and non-statutory teams and agencies
- Experience of partnership working within and across statutory and non-statutory teams and agencies
- Experience of leading service improvements or developing operational processes
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant areas of housing policy and practice including the law relating to local housing authority homelessness duties and the allocation of social housing
