Job description

Location: Office base in Brighton with travel across East and West Sussex.Salary: £26,587 per year (Based on 37 hours per week)Hours:

Recognised as the UK’s Best Supported Housing Landlord at the 2024 Affordable Housing Awards, we are proud our 99.8% compliance with the Decent Homes Standard across our 502 properties, ensuring all tenants have safe, warm and well-maintained homes What you’ll be doing: The Housing Assistant, Supported Living will take responsibility for the property maintenance aspects of our housing management function as well as having an input into a variety of low-level tenancy management issues.

You will be working with the Housing

Officer, Supported Living and will have a joint responsibility for ensuring all housing management duties and responsibilities across the Supported Living Services at met. You will also work in partnership with the support teams in the Supported Living Services and visit tenants in their homes across East and West Sussex.

Customer-focused with excellent communication skillsProblem solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a databaseAttention to detail, able to maintain accurate recordsAn Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be paid for by SouthdownA full driving licence is essential along with access to your own car or a car insured for you for business use.
