An exciting opportunity has arisen on Critical Care for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Housekeeper. Critical Care is a 12 bedded ITU and a 6 ...
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all equipment, both in use on the ward and in store.
- To ensure all equipment and the ward environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
- Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
- Support ward staff with the serving of food and drinks for the patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and perform clerical tasks such as answering the telephone and use of the IT System - Cerner.

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 1 in a relevant subject or equivalent
Desirable
- Previous experience in an NHS acute hospital
- Evidence of IPC knowledge
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- General awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations and processes.
- Good time management and organisational skills
Desirable
- General awareness of Food Hygiene regulations and processes.

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Desirable
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
