We are looking to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work with Older Adults presenting with communication difficulties and dyspha...
- Providing assessment, advice and support to patients with communication difficulties that are currently open to the service (one to one and in groups). Developing, monitoring and reviewing related treatment plans.
- Working closely with and supporting colleagues within the MDT, providing specialist advice and support around communication and/or swallowing issue

Education, qualifications or training
Essential
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent Licence to Practice
- Registration with Health Care Professionals Council.
Desirable
- Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist
Continuous Professional Development
Essential
- Evidence of successful post-graduate study through CPD portfolio
- MSc or at least 3 years experience in co-working with expert practitioners and undertaking specialist formal training.
Previous Experience
Essential
- At least 5 years post-graduate experience
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Essential
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of national policies and procedures both NHS, Government and local Authority relevant to the client group.
- Knowledge of relevant procedures and other relevant legal frameworks including Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act
Additional Requirements
Essential
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to travel to multiple sites
