My job makes better lives by promoting health and independence for people who use our services and their families/carers/support staff by delivering high quality occupational therapy assessments, interventions, formulation, and consultation. Provision of clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team and others as required. These will be undertaken within an accessible, non-stigmatising, service that contributes to the specialist needs of the individuals referred.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Occupational Therapy professional qualification
  • A driving license suitable for driving in the UK and access to a vehicle for work purposes

Desirable

  • Additional academic clinical qualification relevant to area of work
  • Leadership training or relevant leadership experience
  • Clinical supervision training

Registration

Essential

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of leading clinical practice service development or project work
  • Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches
  • Highly specialist knowledge of relevant occupational therapy assessment and treatment models
  • Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills
