Job description
Healthcare porter required to assist the smooth running of a busy healthcare department within a secure environment.Based within secure environments, ...
- Collecting documents from patients to be brought to healthcare
- Ordering and maintaining stock/levels.
- Escorting visitors to the department
- Transporting urgent bloods and samples to local hospitals
- General porter duties.
Further duties will be discussed at interview level.

Education and Training
Essential
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Willingness to undertake any training relevant to the role
Desirable
- Health and Safety certificate
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience of working in a related customer/patient focused environment
Desirable
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment working as a porter
- Previous experience of working in a secure environment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
