Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will visit housebound patients in their own homes, delivering care in line with personalised care plans. You will work largely independently, organising your daily visits efficiently while documenting care and escalating concerns to the wider team.

You will take part in daily handovers and support additional patient-related tasks as required. There are also opportunities to take on champion or link roles, contributing to the development of the wider team.

You will be supported to build your skills and confidence through training and development opportunities. The service operates 7 days a week, including bank holidays, with shifts typically between 08:00 and 18:00, although some flexibility may be available.

As a community Trust, many of our roles require individuals to be able to drive to perform their duties. Where driving is a requirement of the role, you will be asked to confirm that you hold a full UK driving licence or a full driving licence issued by an EU country (not exchanged from a non-EU country) to proceed with your application.
