Healthcare Assistant - Harold White Ward

Assist in the delivery of clinical care, planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses

o To carry out care / other duties under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurseand/or Senior Health Care Assistant

o Support care on a day-to-day basis for all patients in the clinical area in a mannersensitive to the individual clients needs and wishes, acknowledging their rights andbeliefs at all times

o Contribute to resource management within the clinical area

Education & Qualification

Essential: - NVQ 2 in Health Care, or Equivalent; - Clinical skills e.g. venepuncture, aseptic non touch technique

Desirable: - NVQ 3 in Direct Care
