- Accurately read-coding data on EMIS Web into the patient record
- Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed actions
- Input and extract data as required to support practice reports
- File and store records as required
- Photocopy documentation as required
- Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records
- Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary Carry out system searches as requested.
- Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
We are a busy surgery with nearly 8000 patients. We have 2 partners and 5 locum GP's. We have 9 reception/admin staff. Located in Collier Row, North Romford amongst the shops and cafes
Experience
Essential: - Experience in working with Emis Web clinical system; - Knowledge of Windows
Desirable: - Experience of working in primary care
