Previous experience working in general practice is highly
desirable, ideally with experience using SystmOne. Medical secretarial
experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as the right candidate
will have the opportunity to develop their skills in this area.

- Support the timely handling of clinical letters, reports and other relevant communications.
- Ensure documents are accurate, appropriately formatted and processed in line with practice procedures.
- Liaise with colleagues and external organisations as required to support effective communication and administration.
Teamwork and service development
- Work collaboratively with the wider administrative and clinical teams to support the delivery of high-quality services.
- Adapt to changing priorities and service demands within a busy general practice environment.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve administrative processes and patient services.
- Embrace new systems, processes and ways of working as the practice continues to develop.
