The role will include
- Triaging and booking appointments as appropriate as part of the Duty Hub team, using the AccuRx triage system
- Sending referrals to Pharmacy First and MECs
- Supporting patient experience by reiterating information from the GP
- Assisting with practice tasks
- Supporting the wider practice team where required
General Practice Assistants (GPAs) form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care to provide a support role within our duty hub, carrying out administrative tasks, and care navigating.
Operating across three sites in Chelmsford Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery, and Tennyson House Surgery.
