We are looking to recruit two new members of the General Services Assistant/Porter team at St Mary's Community Hospital. You will need to be well orga...
To provide Hotel Services (with portering duties) to the Community Hospital and any outlying units in accordance with CFT policies and procedures.
Responsibility for cleanliness of establishment in line with Standards of Quality Control.
- Responsible for receipting goods and checking for/reporting errors.
- Control use of stocks in absence of hotel Services Supervisor/Senior GSA, marking as necessary.
- Accountability for all keys/equipment issued or used in the course of duty.
- Responsibility for reporting breakdowns, security and adhering to CFT policies and procedures.
- To undertake all General Services Assistant duties and maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and COSHH.
- Ability to follow instructions and use equipment provided following training.
- To be helpful, courteous and kind to colleagues, staff, patients and the general public alike.
- To be aware of patients' dignity and privacy needs at all times and act appropriately.
