In collaboration with team leaders, the Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Front of House administration team, and will ensure that the department delivers high standards of patient care in a professional and efficient way and in line with Hospitals and departmental standards.
- In collaboration with the Head of Outpatients and Patient Services and front of house teams, ensure delivery of the strategic and operational plan(s)
- To provide day to day management, leadership and support to administrative staff members
- To perform local inductions and probationary reviews for all new starters within the team
- To carry out performance reviews and annual appraisals with staff members.
- Challenge, investigate and manage any staff performance concerns in accordance to the Hospital policies.
- To ensure all new staff are set up on the required systems and that all leavers have their accounts deactivated
- To assist in the training of staff on various systems and be a super user.
- Ensure departments and staff are working in compliance of the latest GDPR regulations and hospital guidelines.
- Ensure patient data capture is accurate.
- To support the administrative staff with complaints, trouble shooting, challenging/difficult customers and/or situations.
- Support the leads in investigating any billing/invoices or administrative queries.

Experience
Essential
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience or qualification
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Able to work within a team.
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Team building skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Able to develop, implement and manage change
- IT literate to include windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
- Professional and committed to the highest standard of customer care.
- Good telephone manner
- Committed to working with the appointed managers
- Ability to be accurate in all aspects of work
