Work Location: Loughborough Family Hub, Regent Street, LE11 5BN

Salary : £32,070 - £34,359 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (pay award pending)

Working Hours: 37 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team,  as a Family Support Worker. We work across the Charnwood area and work alongside other agencies such as health, schools, social care and community organisations to support children and their families.

To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:

Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, e.g. social care, health or childcare, OR substantial experience in providing direct support to families that clearly demonstrates the experience, skills, competencies and knowledge outlined below

Experience of identifying and delivering appropriate evidence-based interventions in the home, setting or group environment.

Knowledge of child development and Early Years Foundation Stage

Experience of carrying out assessments, support planning, formulating action plans and reporting outcomes

An understanding of the impact of discrimination

Proven ability to recognise Child Protection issues and Safeguarding practice

Experience of working in a multi-agency environment

In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and to delivering accessible and inclusive services which meet the needs of all of our residents.  You will be asked to demonstrate your understanding of these commitments as part of the selection process.
