As a Facilities Quality, Project & Training Officer, you will play a key role in:
- Supporting the delivery of quality improvement initiatives across Facilities services.
- Conducting audits, reviewing performance data and helping implement action plans.
- Delivering training, competency assessments and BICS-related learning programmes.
- Supporting projects from scoping and data collection through to implementation and evaluation.
- Promoting compliance with national standards, including NHS National Standards of Cleanliness, PLACE and Hospital Food Review requirements.
- Working collaboratively with operational, clinical and corporate teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Producing reports, analysing data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Supporting the introduction of new systems, equipment, procedures and service developments.

Qualifications
Essential
- Vocational Level 3 qualification appropriate to the post, or working towards within agreed timescale
- Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering, or completed within agreed timescale
Experience
Essential
- Experience of the use of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of time management using own judgement in prioritising and rescheduling
- Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies
Desirable
- Evidence of self-development and/or training in administration and/or office practice including update training of software applications
Additional Criteria
Essential
- Understanding of Infection Control procedures
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) is required as cleaning chemicals form part of the cleaning procedure
- Knowledge of Catering and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Desirable
- Level 3 HACCP Certificate
