Equipping Lead – NWUHG New Hospital Programme

Essential

• Master's degree or equivalent level of experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. healthcare infrastructure, engineering, estates, programme management)
• Evidence of advanced specialist knowledge developed through significant post-qualification experience
• Recognised project/programme management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent experience

Essential

• Significant experience leading large-scale, complex capital or infrastructure programmes, ideally within healthcare or a comparable environment
• Experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets, including financial planning, forecasting and control
• Expert knowledge of FF&E planning, equipping strategy, specification, procurement and lifecycle management
• Experience of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment to a single delivery strategy across complex and interdependent programme elements.
• Advanced understanding of NHS capital planning, business case development and programme governance

Desirable

• Experience in New Hospital Programme or equivalent major capital programme.
• Good understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations within healthcare infrastructure.

Essential

• Advanced understanding of NHS capital planning, business case development and programme governance.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen including lifecycle costing and value-for-money decision making.
