Emergency Nurse Practitioner

The successful candidate will hold an Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification, or equivalent, and demonstrate a clear commitment to delivering evidence-based practice alongside advanced clinical assessment and complex decision-making skills.

The post holder will work autonomously within our Minor Injury Units as part of an established Emergency Nurse Practitioner team. They will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring clinical practice is evidence based and delivered in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines. The role also includes contributing to a positive learning environment that supports the development of staff and students.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in the assessment and management of patients presenting with minor injuries. They will be expected to undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, request and interpret appropriate investigations, and initiate evidence-based treatment plans. The post holder will be responsible for the safe discharge of patients or referral to appropriate services in line with agreed clinical pathways and protocols.
