Emergency Department - Clinical Practice Educator - Band 6 37.5 Hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committ...

  • Work clinically in the Emergency department to support the junior workforce to ensure safe, effective and quality care.
  • Contributing to the delivery of RCN ECA National Curriculum and competency framework for Emergency Nursing core clinical educational programmes including:clinical induction programmes, AIMS course, Triage training delivery, minor Injuries training.
  • Support, coaching and assessment in the workplace for various members of the clinical workforce.
  • Working alongside ED Nursing Teams and Specialists to provide tailored educational support to clinical teams as part of quality improvement and organisational change initiatives.
  • Working with the Lead CPF and Matrons to formulate plans to meet identified educational needs for specific staff/groups.
  • Provide training and assessment in the use of medical devices/ ANTT and Clinical competencies.
  • Working alongside lead CPF to ensure departmental mandatory training figures are up to trust standard.
