The Electronic Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for supporting the development, configuration, testing, and ongoing management of the Electronic Prescribing (EP) System for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT). Working under the supervision of the Advanced Oncology Pharmacist Electronic Prescribing, you will support the ongoing management of the EP system. You will act as a point of contact to help resolve system queries and contribute to the delivery of training programs for pharmacy and clinical staff.

Qualifications/Training
Essential
- NVQ3 or BTEC Cert. In Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician
Desirable
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)
- Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician
Knowledge
Essential
- Computer and IT literate
- Competency in use of spreadsheets and large database
- Preparation of written reports and procedures
Desirable
- Writing and maintaining SOPS, reports and performing audits
Skills
