Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in health planning, estates, project management, analytics, or related field
- Experience of working in the Construction or Healthcare Building services industry including site supervision of contractors
Desirable
- Previous experience in NHS
- IOSH or similar H&S training
Knowledge
Essential
- Thorough knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and statutory policies & procedures relevant to managing relevant to the management of public buildings, construction & building maintenance
Desirable
- Understanding of healthcare planning, service change, estates planning or capital development processes.
- Awareness of NHS planning requirements, including the need to align space, activity, workforce, finance and operational requirements.
- Understanding of governance, risk, quality and safe working practices relevant to healthcare planning and estates project

Qualifications

- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience in health planning, estates, project management, analytics, service planning or a related field.

- Able to analyse and interpret information, data and service requirements accurately.
- Able to produce clear written reports, briefing notes, schedules, presentations and planning documentation.
- Good communication skills with the ability to deal with staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Able to organise workload, manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
