Reporting into the Hotel Services & Estates Senior Supervisor , some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the day to day provision of hotel services within the Trust's satellite properties. To assist with various support service duties when called upon to ensure service delivery.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and high standard of cleanliness in all areas.
  • To monitor workload and workforce resources on a day to day basis.
  • They must be able to deal with patients, staff and visitors in a pleasant and co-operative manner.
  • Provide effective communication with Senior Supervisors to ensure that their department becomes a cohesive and integrated part of the Hotel Services team

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or Above) or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Cleaning Science Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ level 2 or a commitment to complete training within 12 months

Knowledge

Essential

  • Computer literate
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently using initiative to decide on the most appropriate action

Experience

Essential

  • Previous Hospital Domestic Experience

Personal Attributes

Essential

  • Must be polite, pleasant tactful and confidential
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of this role
