Rowhedge & University of Essex Medical Practice have an exciting new opportunity for a qualified part time dispenser to join our friendly and busy tea...
- Issue of repeats paper and EPS from online/email/ paper requests
- Monitoring of medication reviews
- Dealing with all patient enquiries and liaising with clinical team
- Preparing and dispensing medication
- NHS script and non NHS fees
- Endorsing prescriptions and preparing scripts for PPD submission
- Ordering, accepting deliveries and checking in of stock
- Cash up till
- Follow/monitor/write SOPs (Standard operating Procedures) in line with good practice and DSQS (Dispensing Services Quality Scheme)
- Deal with outside agencies and NEECCG representatives where appropriate

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ level 2 qualified in Dispensing
Experience
Essential
- Deal sensitively with any patient complaints
- Basic IT skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to work alone with confidence
- SystmOne experience is desirable however full training will be given
