Deputy General Manager (Clinical)

As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the quality care delivery. In close collaboration with the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties in their absence, including ensuring care standards and team motivation. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for residents. This entails leading by example and monitoring standards through audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks. It also involves developing strategies to achieve high standards. You must be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with NMC registration, and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in dealing with diverse health needs and managing safeguarding investigations is necessary, along with HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses. ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you'll need be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. We'll also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
