This role involves being a Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead at a Barchester care home, where you will support the delivery of high-quality care. You'll work closely with the General Manager, taking on leadership duties in their absence, ensuring care standards, and motivating your team. The position requires inspiring a multidisciplinary team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. Responsibilities include leading by example, monitoring standards through audits, and checking regulatory compliance. As a member of the team, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. You must have experience in assisting residents with different health needs and managing safeguarding investigations. Other requirements include HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management understanding, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. You should be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care.

ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you'll need be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. We'll also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Finally, you'll be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
