- Validate Emergency Department activity and performance data.
- Daily usage of excel and internal systems to support reviewing patient documented journeys, accessing relevant systems in line with SOP
- Where relevant, to update patients Electronic Patient Records according to any new information received from services and clinical staff.
- To ensure daily completion and submission of Emergency Department performance sitreps within the dictated timescales, to support the Clinical Business Unit/ Care Group.
- To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders within the Trust ensuring that professional, efficient and courteous service is provided.
- To ensure confidentiality and security of data in accordance with organisational requirements and in line with the Data Protection Act.
- Completion and support of audits of validation processes for Emergency Department activity and performance data as directed by the CBU Senior Team.
- Retrieval of data from specific systems within Trust at the request of senior staff.
- Attendance in meetings relating to Emergency Department reporting data. Participating in suggestions for changes/ improvement.
To support the Clinical Business Unit/ Care Group in data validation of Emergency Department activity and performance Data. The primary responsibility of the post holder will be to ensure that all EmergencyDepartment activity and performance validation is completed within agreed timescales. This will require validation, interpretation and updating of Electronic Patient Records, circulation of Trust performance position.

EXPERIENCE
Essential: - oAwareness of Trust EPR systems and Trust KPIs.; - oGood level of general education; - oExperience of using patient information systems
Desirable: - oGeneral administrative and clerical experience.; - oExperience of validation
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: - oLevel 3 NVQ in Business admin qualification or equivalent.
Desirable: - oIT qualification, e.g. NVQ, CLAIT, ECDL.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
Essential
- IT literate with good keyboard skills
- Good interpersonal skills (Ability to provide support to others).
- Good organisation skills (ability to prioritise workload).
- Good communication skills (telephone / email / written / verbal).
Desirable: - oAbility to converse with staff from all areas, such a clinical and admin staff; - oKnowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products
