Performance Monitoring
System administration
The Data assistant will assist in the effective delivery of enhanced
services by ensuring the accurate collection, validation, monitoring and
reporting of clinical and operational data. The post holder will work closely
with clinical and administrative teams to maximise performance against
contractual requirements, and support the submission of claims and performance
data.
- Provide
support with the collection, validation and maintaining accurate data
relating to enhanced services.
- Ensure
data is recorded correctly within the clinical system and on CQRS.
- Monitor
data quality and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with clinical and
administrative staff.
- Support
clinical teams by generating searches, recalls and patient lists.
- Ensure
claims are submitted accurately and within required timescales.
- Assist
with audits and validation exercises to maximise income and performance.
- Assist
with the administration of Learning Disability Reviews.
- Involvement
with organisation and administration of the annual Flu/Covid campaign
- Assist
with completion of monthly NHS H/C, LARC and FP34s claims
- Oversee
recalls and monitoring of Diabetic eye screening and Cervical screening
- Analyse
performance data and identify trends, gaps and opportunities for
improvement.
- Provide
regular performance reports to the Business Manager and clinical leads.
- Support
the implementation of action plans to improve achievement of service
targets.
- Monitor
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and escalate risks where appropriate.
- Maintain
clinical system searches and reporting templates.
- Support
clinical staff with accurate coding and data entry processes.
- Promote
best practice in clinical coding and data quality.
- Assist
with system updates and changes affecting enhanced services.
- Work
collaboratively with GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative
staff.
- Liaise
with external organisations where required regarding enhanced service
delivery.
- Communicate
performance information clearly and professionally.
Governance and Compliance
- Maintain
confidentiality in accordance with GDPR and NHS information governance
- Comply
with practice policies and procedures.
- Support
quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Ensure
data is managed securely and accurately.
Essential
- Experience
working within an NHS GP practice or primary care setting.
- Knowledge
of Enhanced Services and NHS contractual requirements.
- Experience
using clinical systems such as EMIS Web, SystmOne or Vision.
- Strong
analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent
attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good
organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge
of QOF, Enhanced Services and Primary Care Network contracts.
- Experience
using population health management tools.
- Understanding
of clinical coding standards.
- Experience
supporting quality improvement projects.

Craneswater Group Practice is just a stones throw away from Southsea Seafront. The team is made up of 45 team members, comprising of five Partners, three Salaried GPs, three nurse practitioners and three practice nurses. We also have three HCAs and four Managers. We have a list size of 11,500 patients worked over two sites, we are a training practice.

Qualifications
Essential: - English and Maths grade 4 (A-C)
Desirable: - Qualified in IT level 2
