We are looking for someone with an interest in data

and technology, who can develop their knowledge independently, apply learning

in practice, and contribute ideas for improvement.

Developing and delivering business intelligence

solutions that support informed decision-making across the organisation. Working

with the data warehouse and reporting systems, to transform complex data into

meaningful insights and robust reporting using tools such as Microsoft Fabric,

Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and Excel.

A key focus will be identifying and implementing

opportunities to automate processes, improve the flow of information between

systems, enhance data quality and increase operational efficiency. Supporting the adoption of Microsoft Copilot,

AI-assisted analytics and other emerging technologies, helping to maximise

their potential across the organisation.

Working collaboratively with colleagues at all

levels, this position will promote the effective use of data, analytics,

automation and AI by sharing knowledge, delivering training and encouraging

best practice. Through a combination of technical expertise and stakeholder

engagement, it will help embed a culture of continuous improvement and

data-informed decision-making.

Collaborate

with cross-functional teams to understand business needs to support data-driven

decision making, including the Finance, Care, Retail and People teams

-

Develop

and maintain analytical reports to monitor business performance and KPIs, using

Fabric, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel

and other software tools as required

Develop

reports and visualisations from multiple sources to support planning,

performance control and decision-making

-

Analyse

data to identify opportunities for innovative reporting that communicates

information clearly, attracts attention to key issues and supports effective

decision-making

-

Review

existing reporting solutions to ensure they meet the needs of stakeholders and

are optimised for data quality and run efficiently; fix and develop as required

-

Assist

with the production of regular reports, to ensure accurate information is

provided to stakeholders in a timely manner

-

Conduct

analysis of large data sets to support service delivery, organisational

planning and strategic projects

-

Present

analyses and findings in a clear, concise and meaningful way to both technical

and non-technical audiences

-

Liaising

with managers and data processors to identify opportunities to support work

through streamlining processes, creating integrations, removing work

duplications and manual processes.

Maintain

data integrity by identifying, investigating and resolving data quality issues

-

Develop

and implement data quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and

consistency of data and compliance with UK data protection law and best

practice standards

Act as

the Information Asset Assistant for the data warehouse, ensuring that required

standards are met

Support

the adoption of AI-enabled technologies within the charity

-

Promote

data literacy across the organisation by delivering training, guidance, and

support to employees

-

Ensure

all development work is catalogued and robustly documented
