This is a full time Consultant Medical Retina and Uveitis position. (10 PA sessions per week). You will be responsible for patients from Mid and South...

The Consultant will, in conjunction with colleagues

  • Provide theatre cover
  • Provide an Ophthalmic service in accordance with the agreed timetable and subsequent job plan.
  • Provide 1 in 8 on call cover
  • Supervise trainee staff within the Trust.

Qualifications

Essential

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Completion of FRCO phth or equivalent
  • Full and specialist registration in either AIM or GIM with the GMC
  • Holder of Certificate of completion of Training (CTT) , or evidence of within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview
  • Eligile for specialist registration within six months of interview
