It is essential that you have a valid driving licence to drive in the United Kingdom as the role is community based.
Clinical skills in all types of urinary catheterisation, syringe driver management, wound management and diabetes management are desirable, but not essential.
Support and training will be available to ensure safe a safe transition to working in the community setting.
A preceptorship programme is available.

Qualifications
Essential: - Registered nurse with current NMC registration; - Awareness of current issues in community nursing; - Clinically up-to-date
Desirable: - Knowledge of the principles of manual handling and blood borne disease
Experience

- Physically capable of performing the role and responsibilities expected of the post holder, e.g. car driver, lone working
- Car driver with clean licence
