As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will be part of our valued team within our Surrey Child and Family Health Services. The role involves assisting in the delivery of universal, targeted, and specialist services, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to improve health outcomes. Working under the supervision of qualified professionals, the post holder will carry out assigned tasks and may adapt care packages based on individual progress and needs. Responsibilities include delivering care and support to children and families, assisting with assessment and progress monitoring, running workshops, maintaining records, and following safeguarding procedures. The ideal candidate will have a good general education, relevant experience with children, and strong organisational skills. A willingness to learn and adapt to changing practices is essential.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Good general education (minimum 4 GCSEs including Maths and English) or equivalent. NVQ Level 4, CACHE Level 3, BTEC in Child Care, or at least 2 years relevant experience with children. Strong organisational, time management, IT, and communication skills.
