We are looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive administrator to join our dedicated Frailty Service team. This is an exciting opportunity...
To ensure a high standard of administration services is provided, to make recommendations to the Team Lead and implement new developments.
To ensure all computer work and electronic mail are completed promptly and efficiently.
To ensure a comprehensive telephone service is provided to all staff, ensuring that messages are taken and given in a consistent and efficient manner.
Support the Clinical Managers with managing online systems such as ordering, E-roster and SBS
To ensure effective communication with service users, relatives and carers, visitors, staff and others.
To work with colleagues to ensure cross cover of all workloads, without specific instruction
Excellent customer service skills
Timely production of agendas, documentation and taking of minutes
Respond to patients, carers, and other professionals in a courteous, professional, and effective manner whilst upholding Trust Values
Process telephone calls and emails appropriately
Monitor and process electronic and verbal referrals
Update Electronic Patient Records
Book appointments for clinics and provide reception cover for patients and relatives attending clinic appointments
Book Patient Transport as directed where appropriate
Undertake other reasonable administrative duties within the administration teams across HIOW as specified by the team lead

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.

Qualifications
Essential
- RSA 2 Word processing or equivalent or evidence of this standard
- GCSEs at grade C or equivalent, including Mathematics and English Language
- Current (UK/EU) Driving Licence
- At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
Desirable
- ECDL or similar ITC Qualification
- NVQ 2 or above in Business Administration or equivalent or evidence of this standard
