  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • IT Qualification (HNC) or equivalent through experience/knowledge

  • Experience of a variety of NHS applications

  • Experience of change management

  • Experience of working in an acute NHS environment
  • Experience of a variety of computer applications
  • Knowledge of EMIS system and functionality

  • Possess an understanding of data protection and confidentiality
  • Knowledge and awareness of Information Governance and Data Protection - including but not exclusive The Caldicott Guardian

  • Knowledge of service desk functionality and use
  • Knowledge of back-end applications within Cerner Millennium

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex issues effectively at any level
  • Experienced and competent PC user with good working knowledge of MS Office
