Clinical Specialist Nurse

The successful post holder will have a caseload covering Durham & Darlington for children and young people who require support through the PBS Pathway.

The post holder will provide clinical supervision and support to staff to allow them to understand complex presentation and work collaboratively to develop an understanding of a young person's needs.

You will work collaboratively with the wider CAMHS services and partner agencies, providing direct assessment and understanding of a child/young person's needs. You will develop working hypothesis' and understanding of formulation of the distress behaviours.

Qualifications

Knowledge

Desirable: - Specialist knowledge of working within a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency community team setting.

Experience

Desirable: - Experience of working within a range of services, including inpatient and community settings.
