The community navigator will work closely with their district nursing team, the community navigator colleagues and the wider multi-disciplined team. Being part of the team is essential.
The community navigator is required to recieve information, to relay information from and to a range of clinical systems. Therefore the need to be trained in the use of range of clinical and non clinical systems is key to the post along with the need to be an excellent communicator. The requirtement is to provide effective written and verbal communication skills.
Putting the patient at the forefront of every aspect of this role will be essential. The role will prove to be rewarding and the position will offer job satisfaction.

Qualifications
Essential: - Good Standard of Education; - NVQ 2/3 in Business Administration
Desirable: - Furhter education or work place training/qualifications
Training and digital skills
Essential: - ECDL IBT ICT qualifications
Desirable: - Ability to use IT systems
Previous Experience
Essential
- Previously worked in an administration and clerical role
- Previous experience in determining priroties and meeting the demands of a busy service
- Previous experience in being a member of the team
Desirable: - Previous experience in working in a patient/customer facing role; - Ability to travel to other Health Board premises
