This is a one-year medical oncology clinical fellowship, conducting projects focused on clinical research (Gynaecology cancers). The research will be ...
- Develop clinical research skills in order to propose, design and develop academic institutional and/or multicentre clinical trials with support from the consultants and experienced statisticians and trial managers working within the Gynaecology unit
- Develop grant writing skills for peer reviewed funding and/or endorsement of academic clinical and translational studies. This includes understanding how to appropriately cost a study and attribute the costs of healthcare research as required by major research funders
- Develop skills to design translational research protocols in collaboration with clinician scientists and statisticians

Experience

- Previous NHS Experience
- Experience in the management of cancer patients including chemotherapy.
- Training at specialist registrar level.
Desirable
- Experience of clinical trials and management of patients on clinical trials.
