The post-holder will work closely an in collaboration with clinical, operational, and administrative colleagues within the Medicine group to support the delivery of key performance indicators and provide high quality service and administrative support including information, analysis and report writing.
They will also act as a central point of contact for Quality and Governance within the Medicine group, resolving queries and ensuring reported KPI's are met. To identify issues and root causes in collaboration with the specialities to develop new standard practices.
- To ensure an effective internal governance framework and communication system within the group
- To ensure standards for clinical data and quality metrics within the group are met.
- To provide support for specialities and governance leads to drive the quality agenda and ensure improvement in performance across all of the Trust's quality metrics.

Qualifications
Essential: - oDegree or equivalent level of experience working within a quality role or similar department oHospital IT Systems - EPR- Insite
Desirable: - oQuality related training such as: - Risk management training - Datix Training - Clinical Audit training Lean Training (or passport sessions.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a busy administrative environment
- NHS experience
- Advanced decision making and resolving complex work related issues
- Meeting management and minute taking
- Report creating
Desirable: - oPresenting reports to teams/ committees oReviewed and revised a process to drive improvement
Knowledge
Essential
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
- Excellent understanding of general office working procedures
- Awareness of current quality matrix within the Trust and NHS
Desirable: - oKnowledge and understanding of current Trust and NHS Governance framework
