Experience
Essential
- Minimum 5 years post registration experience in a Cancer related area
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of Breast Cancer and the treatment pathway which patients follow
Skills
Essential
- Advanced Communication Skills
- Ability to work alone and under pressure
- Ability to manage complex situations both clinically and in terms of administration
- Presentation Skills (often have to present at MDT)
Desirable
- Understanding of management of data
Knowledge
Essential
- Proven clinical skills & sound knowledge base in Breast Oncology and
- Knowledge of Cancer patient
- Experience and ideas of how Barts Health can improve position
- Ist Level Breast Cancer Course
Desirable
- Physical Assessment Course
- Nurse Prescribing Course
- Chemotherapy Course
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse
- Degree Qualification in Breast Cancer Related topic.
- Nurse education qualification
Desirable
- Masters qualification or evidence of work at masters level.
