Essential

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy or Equivalent.
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or Royal College of Occupational Therapist
• Evidence of relevant postgraduate education and continuing professional development (CPD).

Desirable

• Masters level qualification in appropriate subject or evidence of working towards one
• Membership of appropriate clinical interest Groups
• Leadership or quality improvement qualifications

Essential

• Extensive experience over a minimum of 6 years' post- qualification.
• At least 4 years experience in managing patients with highly complex orthopaedic conditions
• Experience in working with Oncology conditions and patients undergoing cancer treatments such as Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy.

Desirable

• Experience delivering specialist education and training programmes
• Experience of primary bone sarcoma, soft tissue sarcoma, Metastatic Bone Disease and MSCC rehabilitation
• Operational leadership experience

• Comprehensive and advanced level clinical assessment and treatment skills across orthopaedic, oncology and neurological presentations Highly developed ability to assess complex physical, functional and psychosocial rehabilitation needs and formulate, coordinate and evaluate comprehensive person-centred management plans.
• Extremely well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible language, particularly when engaging with patients who are anxious, distressed, angry, or experiencing depression and low mood
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling assessment of challenging clinical and organisational issues and the provision of expert opinion to support patient care and service delivery.
• Ability to make complex decisions where evidence or clinical situations may be uncertain or conflicting

• Highly developed presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clinical information, service developments, and evidence-based practice to peers, multidisciplinary teams, and wider audiences.
• Experience presenting at local, regional or national meetings
