The successful candidate would be based within Medicine and will have the opportunity to work on our short-stay ward and in the outliers team.
On call duties and clerking shifts will be with the general internal medical team, covering the whole hospital.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Able to assess, resuscitate and stabilise acutely sick patients.
- Good clinical judgement
- Understand Audit/governance processes
- Previous knowledge and experience of General Medicine and the interpretation of common blood tests and ECG
- o1 year at F2/SHO level in General Medicine
Desirable: - o6 months experience in Acute Medicine or ED as F2/CT1; - oMRCP Part 1

- Tapping of pleural and ascetic fluid and occasionally placing a chest or ascetic drain (E) IV fluid management
