The Clerical Radiology Department Assistant will providing a welcoming, caring and efficient service.
Greeting patients, checking ID, demographics and accuracy of hospital records.
Booking the arrival of patients on the computer with appointments and walk-in patients - patients may have electronic or paper requests - in accordance with procedures for location.
To communicate effectively and politely with patients, their families/ carers, hospital staff and outside agencies, in a professional and caring manner.
To provide correct, accurate and factual information to patients by phone and in person, respecting patient dignity and observing equal opportunities at all times.
