Location: South Shields, NE33Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Hours: 40 hours per week Are You Ready to Make a Lasting Difference? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in South Shields. This role is ideal for a strong leader passionate about driving positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs. Day-to-day of the role:

Lead the day-to-day management of the children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and all relevant legislation.Develop and maintain a positive, child-focused culture within the home.Oversee care planning and support the delivery of tailored, outcome-focused care.Manage, mentor, and develop staff, ensuring high standards of practice are maintained.Monitor and maintain staffing levels to meet the needs of the service.Build positive relationships with local authorities, external professionals, families, and regulatory bodies.Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving and maintaining excellent inspection outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into registration.Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.Proven leadership and people management experience within a residential childcare setting.Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child-centred practice.Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Services), or willingness to achieve thisDesirable: Social Work qualification, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent. Experience supporting children with trauma, attachment difficulties, and emotional or behavioural needs. Benefits:
