Salary: Up to £ 60,000.00 + bonus Lead a Brand-New Children's Home and Make a Lasting Difference An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a newly established, high-specification children's residential home in Spalding, Lincolnshire This is far more than a management position—it's an opportunity to build a service from the ground up, shape an outstanding culture, and positively transform the life of a young person with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The Opportunity As the Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and staff development. You'll create a warm, safe and therapeutic environment where children can feel secure, valued and empowered to achieve positive outcomes. Working alongside a committed and supportive organisation, you'll play a key role in establishing a home recognised for excellence in children's residential care.

Key Responsibilities As Registered Manager you will

Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the residential homeRecruit, develop, supervise and inspire a high-performing residential care teamCreate a safe, stable and nurturing home environment centred around the needs of the young personEmbed trauma-informed and child-centred practice throughout the serviceImplement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), PACE and therapeutic approaches where appropriateOversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding and regulatory complianceEnsure the home consistently meets and exceeds Ofsted standards and Children's Homes RegulationsBuild positive relationships with local authorities, education providers, health professionals and familiesManage complex behaviours with confidence, professionalism and compassionDrive continuous improvement, quality assurance and outstanding care outcomesSupport the young person with daily routines, appointments, education and meaningful activities when requiredPrepare for inspections and maintain excellent standards of governance and documentation

About You We're looking for someone who can combine strong leadership with genuine compassion. You'll have:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)At least 2 years' experience in a senior leadership role within a children's residential homePrevious experience supporting children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needsExcellent understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic practiceStrong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirementsOutstanding leadership, communication and organisational skillsA resilient, reflective and solution-focused approachFull UK driving licence
