The primary focus of this role is to provide an effective and high quality services in relation to the CDS. To participate in assessments and reviews in the clinic setting, to work closely with children and families coming to the CDS, and to liaise and communicate with professionals and agencies involved with the service.
This will involve various health assessment procedures and will also include providing play and activities during clinic sessions.
An important part of the role is contributing towards the assessment of children and their needs based on the post holder's knowledge and experience of working with children with complex health, physical and learning needs.
The post holder will need to be highly organised, able to work without direct supervision, and be an excellent communicator, with the ability to support the team in the day-to-day operation of the services they provide.

Essential

- Experience of working in the NHS
- Experience, knowledge and awareness of patient care/need e.g. patient monitoring
Qualifications
Essential
- Care certificate (or willingness to undertake in a timeframe as outlined by the trust)
- Minimum NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Childcare
