This role is for a qualified chef who seeks to create fresh seasonal food while achieving a work-life balance. As a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will work part-time in a flexible capacity, assisting the Head Chef in crafting nutritious and balanced menus. The position allows the delivery of hotel/restaurant quality without dealing with split shifts and lengthy work weeks. The role involves working directly with residents to tailor menus, managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, and overseeing stock control and audits. The chef must be personable and demonstrate a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing. The role also necessitates understanding nutrition, working with fresh produce, and maintaining high-quality standards in cooking and budget management. This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. Working as a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them. NEED TO HAVE
