Cheriton Care Home, located at 8-10 Weymouth Ave, Dorchester DT1 2EN, offers a supportive environment for both residents and staff. The role offers £14.36 per hour, a refer a friend scheme, ongoing career development, and a company pension scheme. This position requires at least 2 years of experience in social care and a QCF Level 2 qualification. You'll be leading by example, providing high-quality care and companionship, supporting residents, and working closely with families and healthcare professionals. What we offer

Were looking for

  • Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK
  • At least 2 years experience in social care
  • QCF Level 2 (or above)
  • 42 hours per week (day shifts)
  • Availability to work alternate weekends

Your role

  • Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship
  • Support residents with personal care and daily living
  • Encourage independence and wellbeing
  • Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings
  • Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping
  • Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
  • Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management
