This is an important front-line role where you
will be the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure they receive
the right care from the right service at the right time.
The successful candidate will provide
excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of
the practice.
up by local GPs who are passionate about providing high quality primary care
and using their time and skills effectively to benefit patients.
We are currently a GP
partnership of 30 practices with 38 surgeries,
serving around 280,000 patients in Birmingham,
Wolverhampton, and Shropshire.
Personal Qualities
Essential
- Strong telephone manner and ability to deal with a wide range of people
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing own clinical workload
- A calm, empathetic, and professional manner under pressure
Experience
Essential: - Experience in care navigation or signposting patients to appropriate services
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- IT and administrative skills including the use of email and Microsoft office packages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of confidentially and data protection principles (GDPR)
- An awareness of safeguarding principles for adults and children
