Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, located in Surrey, you will focus on delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene care while maintaining their dignity and independence. You'll also be responsible for recognizing clinical risk areas in residents and escalating them appropriately. Courteous interaction with residents and visitors, practicing safe systems of work, and demonstrating respect and individuality are also expected. Experience is not required for this position as a thorough induction and training program is provided. Important qualities include effective communication, initiative, respectfulness, efficiency, and adaptability. A DBS Disclosure check is required, and Avery Healthcare will cover the cost. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also necessary.
