Cardiothoracic Scrub Practitioner

Be a proficient practitioner in Cardiothoracic Theatres, the post holder acts as a professional role model and Clinical Teacher. He/she also provides effective mentorship and supervision, participating in the education and training of nursing and non-nursing staff.To ensure safe, efficient timely individualised care is delivered in line with Local and National targets .

Qualifications

Essential: - Registered Nurse.; - Evidence of continuing professional development / education

Desirable: - Recognised post graduate Theatre course. ENB176; - Mentorship Course

Experience

Essential: - More than 12 months post registration experience; - Previous Theatre experience; - Current surgical experience; - Willingness to achieve set objectives
