We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientist to undertake cardiology non-invasive diagnostic testing as part of Sulis Hospitals Cardiology Service.
A friendly manner is essential as you will need to be able to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate.
The hospital is increasing its activity levels and offers full ambulatory and transthoracic echo services. The role is to expand the establishment to continue to provide our high standards.
Full Time- 37.5 hours Part-time would be considered
Including some occasional weekend working
This role requires DBS clearance

We welcome both inpatients and outpatients across a variety of specialisms from Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, General surgery, ENT, Urology, Vascular and many others.
Qualifications
Essential
- AHSC or RCCP registration
- Cardiac Physiology qualification or equivalent (e.g. Clinical Cardiology degree, PTP HCS).
- Strong IT skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Some post qualification cardiology experience.
- Experience of full ambulatory testing analysis to support junior members of the cardiology team.
- Basic Life Support certificate.
Desirable
- Previous experience in using Spacelabs healthcare equipment.
- Experience in undertaking exercise testing.
- Experience in triage processes.
- ILS (will be required within one year of employment).
- SCST certificate or diploma.
- Ability to prepare and present topics in cardiology and service delivery.
